Official Drawing Rules

1. This promotion includes donations to the Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta’s 1913 Founders Day Challenge which will accept donations through March 31, 2024.

    

2. Sweepstakes entrants must be at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid driver’s license. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

    

3. Three sweepstakes winners will receive $500 each.
   
   
4. 1913 Founders Day Challenge donors making a donation of $22 or more will automatically be

   entered into the Sweepstakes. Limit one entry per donor.

    

5. Entry without meeting the automatic entry requirement can also be made by sending a

   letter to Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Attn: 1913 FDC, P.O. Box 1897, Aiken, SC 29802, containing name, address, phone number (cell & home), date of birth, and

   current e-mail address. Limit one entry per person. The Entry Letter must be received by March 31, 2024. Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, garbled, delayed or misdirected entries, all of which will be void.

    

6. The prize drawing will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

    

7. Winners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) and return to Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta within ten (10) days from when the notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/ her prize. If the winners cannot be reached by May 11, 2024, such winner forfeits the prize. If the winner(s) is/are disqualified for any reason, the next eligible runner-up will be determined on a random basis from remaining eligible entries.

    

8. Members of the Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., members of their immediate families, household members ARE ELIGIBLE to participate in the Sweepstakes.

    

9. Winners will be required to provide state issued photo identification. Failure to provide the foregoing will result in forfeiture of the prize.

    

10. By entering, all entrants hereby agree to receive future mailings from Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma theta sorority, Inc., comply with these Rules, represent that he/she is eligible, and consent to the use of his/her name and/or photograph for publicity purposes, if chosen as the winner, without compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entrants fully and completely release.
    
    
11. Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Delta Research and Education Foundation and the Grand Chapter of Delta Sigma theta Sorority, Inc. from any and all claims or liability in connection this promotion.

     

12. Entrants agree to hold harmless Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Delta Research and Education Foundation and the Grand Chapter of Delta Sigma theta Sorority, Inc. and their members, employees, directors, officers and agents, parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising, fulfillment, publicity and promotion agencies from responsibility for damages, losses, or injuries, including death, personal injury or property damage including attorney’s fees, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this promotion, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or in any way arising out of this promotion.

     

13. Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned.

     

14. Winners must take ownership of prizes by May 11, 2024. Failure to take ownership of the prize as required herein shall constitute a forfeiture of the prize.

     

15. Winning this promotion may have federal and state income tax consequences. Name of prize winner will be available after April 13, 2024 at www.AikenDST.org.
