The Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization, will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors in our service areas of Aiken and Edgefield Counties.

The Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has established a glorious history of educational, cultural, political, and social service in the public’s interest. Operating under the Sorority’s Five Point Thrust, including Educational Development, the Scholarship Committee is actively seeking to honor some of the best and brightest graduating seniors by facilitating the selection of scholarship recipients.

The Committee examines each applicant’s academic record, financial situation, and essay to determine the student’s eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Black African American female or male high school senior attending a public or charter high school (children of members of Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are not eligible).
  • Maintain legal residence within Aiken or Edgefield Counties
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on unweighted scale
  • Intend to enroll in a full-time program at an accredited college, university, or institution of equivalent accreditation during the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Application Deadline:  Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:59PM
