Welcome to the official website of Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We are a wonderful sisterhood of over 70 members dedicated to serving Aiken and Edgefield Counties. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded on Christian principles by 22 college women in 1913, at Howard University in Washington, DC. Members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority are dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, and service in communities around the world.
I am honored to be a leader in this illustrious sisterhood and Aiken Alumnae Chapter. Our members are dynamic women who live and work in the community to initiate social change and encourage academic excellence based on our organization's Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and are seeking a Delta chapter to affiliate with, I encourage you with sisterly love to attend a chapter meeting or chapter event. Meetings are typically held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
