It is my pleasure to greet you on behalf of the sensational, dedicated members of Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We thank you for taking time to visit our website. I am honored and proud to serve as the President of this illustrious sisterhood comprised of multi-talented, intergenerational women who share the common goals of scholarship and service to the local community of Aiken and Edgefield County.
Over 70 years, we have rendered numerous hours of service, awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships, and actively engaged in promoting political awareness and social action. We are grateful for the ongoing support of our friends, family members, and community partners. We work together diligently to develop and implement programs that answer needs identified throughout our community.
Our chapter, in alignment with Delta’s National Programmatic Thrust and service Initiatives, develops activities and events that focus on:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness & Involvement
- Physical & Mental Health
- Social Action/Political Awareness
- Public Service
- Arts & Letters
